This team helps manage communication and promote the activities of the group. You don’t need to attend weekly meetings – this role focuses on communication, promotion and responding to enquiries. No previous scouting experience needed.
Communication
The team may help with:
- Managing the group’s social media accounts
- Updating our group website
- Sharing news and updates with parents and volunteers
- Responding to incoming enquiries from people interested in joining the group.
Marketing and Promotion
The team can also help promote the group by:
- Taking photos during camps, events and activities
- Writing short updates or stories for social media
- Sharing highlights from activities and adventures
- Promoting upcoming events and opportunities.
Supporting the Growth of the Group
By promoting the group and helping communicate with families and the wider community, this team supports the continued growth of West Monkton Scout Group.
