We are looking for volunteers to join our:
Squirrels Team
4 and 5 year olds
Beavers Team
6 and 7 year olds
Cubs Team
8 – 10.5 year olds
Scouts Team
10.5 – 14 year olds
Explorers Team
14- 18 year olds
Each section is supported by a small team of volunteers who share responsibility for delivering great Scouting. You don’t need to do everything on your own – this role is about sharing responsibilities across the team.
Supporting the Section
Within each section team, we are looking for people to help oversee key areas such as:
Programme – planning and organising activities for the section
Events – organising trips, activities and special events
Camps – planning and coordinating camps and outdoor experiences.
By sharing these responsibilities across the team, volunteering becomes more manageable and sustainable.
Supporting Weekly Meetings
We are also looking for volunteers who are happy to help support section meetings.
Having enough adults present helps ensure we meet the correct adult-to-young-person ratios, allowing activities to run safely and smoothly. Even helping occasionally can make a big difference.
